Effect Overview

Tapered Path applies a taper to any path with a stroke effect enabled - open or closed. Tapered Path is found under the Shape category within the Effects Browser.

Effect Controls

PREREQUISITE: Object must be set to stroke

  1. Start Size: [ Default 0 ] [ Range 0 - 100 ]

    • Sets the stroke size of the taper at the starting point of the path

  2. Start Length: [ Default 50 ] [ Range 0 - 100 ]

    • Sets the length of the taper at the starting point of the path

    • 0 being no taper and 100 a taper that ends at the midpoint of the stroke

  3. End Size: [ Default 0 ] [ Range 0 - 100 ]]

    • Sets the stroke size of the taper at the ending point of the path

  4. End Length: [ Default 50 ] [ Range 0 - 100 ]

    • Sets the length of the taper at the ending point of the path

    • 0 being no taper and 100 a taper that ends at the midpoint of the stroke
