Overview

The wave warp distorts an image, scene, or group in a wave-like fashion

Effect Controls

  1. Width: [ Default 100 ] [ USER INPUT ]

    • Controls the width of the wave

    • 0 being many tiny waves & 500 being large long waves

  2. Height: [ Default 50 ] [ USER INPUT ]

    • Controls the height of the wave

    • 0 being no height (meaning no distortion) and 500 being high peaks in the wave

  3. Constrain: [ ON ] [ ON / OFF SWITCH ]

    • When constrain is on, the effect is kept within the bounds of the bounding box

  4. Square Mode: [ OFF ] [ ON / OFF SWITCH ]

    • When in an ON state this setting replaces the waves with squares.

    • Replicates the wave warp by creating a set of displaced squares

  5. Rotation: [ Default 0 ] [ Range -180° to 180° ]

    • Dictates the rotation of the wave effect

  6. Movement: [ Default 0 ] [ USER INPUT ]

    • Movement allows for the animation of the wave

  7. Global Opacity: [ Default 100 ] [ 0 - 100 ]

    • Controls the overall opacity of the effect on the image

Effect Preview

  • Distortion Map: [ Width 288.6 ] [ Height 50 ] [ Constrain ON ] [ Square Mode ON ] [ Rotation 0 ] [ Movement 0 ]
