You can use teams to collaborate with others on your Fable projects. On teams, all members have view or edit access to team projects, allowing your teammates to stay in-sync in your Fable workspace.

This is a guide on how to create your first team and invite a collaborator. It assumes you've already created a Fable account and have signed into the platform.

Create your first team and team project

  1. Click the + New Team button on the left sidebar

  2. Enter a Team name

Woo! You've created your first team. You should see the newly created Team on the left sidebar. You don't have any team projects yet, so let's create one.

  1. Click the New Project button in the top right corner

You'll notice that team projects look exactly the same as personal projects. Everything you can create in Fable, you can create with multiple people on team projects.

Now that you have a team project, let's invite a teammate to work with.

Invite a team member

  1. Return to your workspace dashboard.

  2. On the left sidebar, identify the team you'd like to invite members into

  3. Open the team options menu by clicking the [...] button beside the team name

  4. Click Invite members

  5. Click New Member in the top right corner

  6. Enter the email of the person you'd like to invite and the role you'd like them to have in your workspace

  7. Click Invite

The teammate you invited will get an invitation to your Fable team. Once they accept the invite and create an account on Fable, they'll be able to see all the projects in your team!

On the Starter plan, your team can have:

  • 3 team projects

  • 1 other Editor collaborator

This guide does not apply to Organizations.
