On the Starter plan, you can create one team in your workspace. You can use this team to create shared projects and collaborate with others on your Fable projects.

This is a guide on how to create your first team and invite a collaborator on the Starter plan. It assumes you've already created a Fable account and have signed into the platform.

Create your first team and team project

  1. Click the + New Team button on the left sidebar

  2. Enter a Team name

Woo! You should see the Team you created appear on the left sidebar. You don't have any team projects yet, so let's create one.

  1. Click the New Project button in the top right corner

You'll notice that team projects look exactly the same as personal projects. Everything you can create in Fable, you can create with multiple people on team projects.

Now that you have a team project, let's invite a teammate to work with.

Invite a team member

  1. Return to your workspace dashboard by clicking the Fable Logo in the top left corner

  2. Click the Workspace Dropdown (your workspace name + down arrow) at the top left corner of the screen

  3. Click Invite members

  4. Click New Member in the top right corner

  5. Enter the email of the person you'd like to invite and the role you'd like them to have in your workspace

  6. Click Invite

The teammate you invited will get an invitation to your workspace. Once they accept the invite and create an account on Fable, they'll be able to see all the projects in your team!

On the Starter plan, your workspace is limited to:

  • 1 team

  • 3 team projects

  • 1 Editor collaborator
