How to create scenes on Fable

There are a few ways to create Scenes (A-D below):

A. New Scene Button

You can create a scene at any time using the New Scene button at the top of the editor interface. At the top of the editor interface, click the (+) button to the right of your project tab. A new Scene tab will appear to the right of your Project tab.

B. New Scene Tool

  1. Select one or more layers

  2. The Secondary Toolbar will display

  3. Click the button at the bottom of the Toolbar to Create Scene with the selected layers

  4. A modal will appear that lets you name your scene

C. Timeline Context Menu

  1. Select multiple layers on the Timeline using SHIFT + LMB

  2. Right click the layers

  3. The Timeline Context Menu should appear

  4. Click the Create new scene option on the context menu

  5. A modal will appear that lets you name your scene

D. Canvas Context Menu

  1. Select multiple layers on the Canvas

  2. Right click the layers

  3. The Canvas Context Menu should appear

  4. Click the Create new scene option on the context menu

  5. A modal will appear that lets you name your scene
